How paid content works on Germany Newspaper, how we label it, and how to advertise with us.
Advertisements
An advertisement is content an advertiser paid for, wrote or approved. It carries the label “Advertisement” above the headline and wherever it is listed, it appears under Partner content, and every link to the advertiser is marked as sponsored. Advertisements are kept out of search engines' indexes.
Sponsorship
A sponsor may pay for a section or a series. Our editors choose the topics and write and edit the stories, and the sponsor does not see them before publication. These stories carry “Sponsored by” and the sponsor's name.
What we accept
Paid content must fit the subject of Germany Newspaper and passes the same fact-check as our own stories. We do not sell links, and we do not publish paid content without a label. Gambling, crypto-assets, adult content, health claims and financial products are considered case by case, and may be declined.
Affiliate links
We do not use affiliate links in news stories.
